WordPress / Front-end developerPersonal Service Company
I’m a London based front-end developer who loves WordPress. I’m currently looking for freelance contracts in and around London. I’ve a keen eye for detail and enjoy working closely with designers and UX to create the best experience for the end user.
I’m a passionate believer that the web should be for all, no matter what your circumstances are. As a result of this I don’t just consider accessibility as a concern for people with disabilities. A site with poor performance on a 3G connection is just as frustrating as a site that doesn’t work with screen readers. I therefore consider performance and security just as important as the content when building sites.
I build responsive WordPress themes from scratch with accessibility, SEO, performance and security in mind. I'm a strong believer that the web is for all. I strive to deliver the best possible result for whoever is using the site in question.
The Sole Supplier
Big Rock (XPONO LTD)
I worked with Rob for 5 years at Dare where he was a valuable and reliable member of the Tech Team. As well as being a very capable developer he regularly took a tech lead role on projects, helping define them with the UX and Design teams, and working closely with clients to ensure their expectations were met. He had several stints working onsite with clients, for which he received glowing feedback. He could always be relied upon to represent the agency with little supervision while helping our clients deliver.
Jake Morris, Delivery Partner at Dare
Rob worked for me when I was Technical Director at Dare. He is a solid, hard working front end developer who can be relied upon to deliver. I made him a "technical account lead" which meant that he oversaw the technical development on a number of clients - going deep into client operations and infrastructure and using this knowledge to inform each project. This also involved overseeing other developers as they worked on these project which he did very well. In short, I'd highly recommend him,
