Paul Love

Front-end technical lead and developer

Personal Service Company

I have over 15 years experience leading the successful delivery of solid front-end builds for complex e-commerce and CMS projects, including Waitrose, Boots, Debenhams, The British Heart Foundation, The Home Office and Royal Shakespeare Company.

More recently I've been doing product-driven work, completing an 11-month stint as part of the team at Scoota (née Rockabox).

I sit very firmly on the visual and user-centric side of the front-end spectrum, rather than the JS side. I prefer to work closely with product managers, designers and UX people and am comfortable working directly with clients.

I'm currently focusing on projects that involve component-led CSS, living styleguides and SSGs.

I also do microsites. And make cakes.

Scott Cowan, C# Developer and Technologist

One of the very best Tech Leads I’ve worked with; highly proficient and very knowledgeable. He encourages his team to take ownership of their work whilst providing clear direction from a higher level. Paul also possess excellent communication skills whether conversing with clients, developers or other team members who may not be from a technical background.
